Asiana Terminal 2 operations will begin on January 14, when Asiana Airlines starts serving all passengers at Incheon International Airport’s second passenger terminal (T2).
Asiana Airlines said, “We moved terminals to prepare for the launch of the integrated airline and to improve passenger convenience.” All inbound flights arriving in Incheon after 12 a.m. on January 14 will enter through T2. Outbound flights will also shift the same day, starting with the Osaka-bound OZ112 at 7 a.m. on January 14, with all departures completing check-in and exit procedures at T2.
All arrivals after midnight on January 14 will enter through T2. Departures will follow the same transition schedule, beginning with OZ112 to Osaka at 7 a.m., after which all outbound flights will operate from T2.
Check-in will take place on the third floor at counters G through J on the east side. Economy class and self bag drop services will use counters G and H. Business class passengers and elite members will use counter J.
Passengers flying with Asiana Airlines will be able to use Korean Air lounges inside T2. The airline said it will minimize confusion through notices on its website and social media, signage inside the airport, and emergency transport vehicles related to the terminal change.
