Air Premia announced on October 27, 2025, that since launching its Incheon–Los Angeles (LA) route in October 2022, the airline has operated 1,989 flights and carried a total of 508,554 passengers through the end of last month.
The number of passengers and flights has steadily increased each year. During its first year (October 2022–September 2023), 137,505 passengers traveled on 519 flights. The second year (October 2023–September 2024) saw 180,026 passengers on 652 flights, and in the third year (October 2024–September 2025), 191,023 passengers flew on 818 flights.

Among Korean airlines operating on the LA route, Air Premia’s market share grew from 12.9% in its first year to 14% in the second and 15.3% in the third, averaging 14.1% over the three-year period.
The airline attributed its performance to competitive fares, the focus on wide-body aircraft equipped with a premium economy class, and continuous investments in service quality and operational reliability. In May 2025, Air Premia introduced a new night flight on the LA route.
Brian Kim, Air Premia’s LA branch manager, said the airline will “continue expanding flight schedules and routes to offer more choices to customers and strengthen its premium services.”

To commemorate the third anniversary of its LA service, Air Premia is offering discount codes for its U.S. routes—including Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco—until November 9, 2025.
For the LA route, passengers can enter the code “LAX3YEAR” to receive up to 30% off the base fare. For the New York and San Francisco routes, the code “YPUSA15” offers up to 15% off.
Tickets purchased with these codes are valid for travel through late September 2026, though blackout dates apply. Reservations can be made through Air Premia’s official website or via both online and offline travel agencies, according to Yonhap News.
