The fare waiver covers all Metro trains, buses, and the shared ride service Metro Micro. Riders using Metro Bike Share can also receive 30 minutes of free use by entering the promo code 060625.

According to Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), a new Automated People Mover connecting the Metro system with LAX terminals and parking facilities is scheduled for completion in 2026. Until then, Metro will operate shuttle buses every 10 minutes between the new transit center and the arrival levels of all terminals.

The center will be served by Metro bus lines 102, 111, 117, 120, and 232. Additional local transit agencies—Big Blue Bus, Culver CityBus, Torrance Transit, GTrans, Beach Cities Transit, among others—will also stop at the center.

The LAX Metro Transit Center will officially open to the public at 5 p.m. on June 7 and is located at the intersection of Aviation Boulevard and 96th Street.
