Filmmaker Yeon Sang-ho, best-known for zombie apocalypse film “Train to Busan” (2016), is set to direct and write his first English-language project.
According to foreign reports, Yeon will work on TriStar Pictures’ action-horror film titled “35th Street,” with screenwriter Ryu Yong-jae.
“35th Street” will be produced by studios Appian Way, founded by actor Leonardo DiCaprio, and Wow Point.

Additional information regarding the film has not yet been disclosed. Filming is expected to begin in the latter half of 2025.
Yeon has also directed Netflix original series “Hellbound” (2021-), “The Bequeathed” and “Parasyte: The Grey.” The second season of “Hellbound” is set to premiere later this year.
