Jungmin Lee has been named the Koreatown Deputy of Constituent Services for the 10th District of Los Angeles City Councilmember Heather Hutt, filling a previously vacant role.
An Emory University and UC Irvine graduate, Lee has experience as an intern in the Councilmember’s office and at the Koreatown Youth + Community Center. A native of La Cañada, she has also worked as a copywriter in the private sector.
This background makes her an ideal assistant for communications between the Korean American community and the Councilmember’s office. Her predecessor, Evette Kim, recently left to become Chief of Staff to Vice Mayor Tammy Kim, who is running for mayor of Irvine.
