All 44 Korean nationals in Gabon are safe, including Korean Embassy staff, according to diplomatic sources.
The individuals reportedly remain in the Central African country.
On Wednesday, Gabon army officers seized power in a coup, annulling the election victory of Gabonese President Ali Bongo.
The Korean Foreign Ministry on Wednesday raised its traveling warning for Gabon. The warning will remain in effect for 90 days.
