Moon Sua of girl group Billlie will be taking time off from her activities after the death of her older brother Moonbin, who was a member of boy band Astro, last week.
The group will also end promotions for its latest album, “the Billage of perception: chapter three” (2023).
Moon Sua will not be hosting this week’s “Show Champion” (2012-) on MBC M. Wednesday’s episode will be hosted by two other co-hosts, Tsuki and Nana from girl group Woo!Ah!.
“Planned fan sign event schedules will continue with Haram, Haruna, Sheon, Siyoon, Suhyeon and Tsuki,” a statement released on Monday reads.
“We sincerely thank the fans who supported Billlie’s [promotional] activities for their fourth EP.”
Astro’s agency Fantagio Corp opened a space in the agency building to pay respect to Moonbin, where fans, fellow band members and other artists have left messages.
“I will smile a lot, I will be happy doing what I want to do. So please be happy and comfortable there,” Moon Sua wrote in the memorial space.
Billlie’s latest album, “the Billage of perception: chapter three” was released on March 28.
