A gunman entered the UCLA campus on the weekend and attempted several robberies and kidnappings against female students.
School authorities said no suspects have been arrested and cautioned students.
The first incident occurred near the first parking lot building at around 4:30 p.m. on the 5th. The gunman approached a female student, held her hands, refused to let her go, asked for money, and tried to drag her somewhere else.
In the process, the suspect reportedly threatened to have a gun, but did not show the victim the weapon.
The second case was attempted at around 6:45 p.m. on the same day and in a similar form to the first case near the 7th parking lot building. In the process, a female student reportedly got her hand scratched.
In both cases, the victims were able to escape from the gunman and leave the crime scene, the school police said.
The suspect is believed to be between the ages of 25 and 40, 5ft 10in tall, thin, with short, dark hair and brown eyes.
At the time of the crime, he was reportedly wearing a dark blue shirt with white letters and blue jeans. At the time of the second incident, he was wrapped up in a orange and blue throw blanket.
UCLA and the school police issued criminal warnings in connection with the incident, and asked students and visitors to report to 911 immediately in case of an emergency.
