Taeyang and Jimin’s “Vibe” (2023) and NewJeans’ “OMG” (2023) landed on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart Tuesday.
“Vibe,” a collaboration between Taeyang of boy band Big Bang and Jimin of boy band BTS, landed on No. 76 on the chart.
Making the chart is a first for Taeyang.
Jimin had previously charted on the Hot 100 chart with the song “Filter” (2020), his solo track included in BTS’s fourth full-length album, “Map of the Soul: 7.”
“OMG,” the title track for the girl group NewJeans’ first EP, came in at No. 91.
This achievement is a second for NewJeans — the girl group’s pre-release digital single “Ditto” (2023) charted No. 96 on the Hot 100 chart last week.
“Ditto” also landed on the UK Singles Chart Top 100 two weeks in a row.
