Composer and producer Don Spike [Yonhap]
Composer and producer Don Spike, 45, whose legal name is Kim Min-soo, has been arrested for suspected drug use, according to the Nowon Police Station on Tuesday.

Kim was arrested Monday at around 8 p.m. after the police showed up with a warrant at a hotel in Gangnam District, southern Seoul. Police confiscated 30 grams of methamphetamines from the scene.

Kim also tested positive on a simple drug test that was conducted around the time of his arrest.

The police said that they began an investigation on Kim after a drug suspect gave a statement to the police that he had done drugs with Kim.

Kim debuted as a piano player for male duo Position. He has composed songs such as Exo’s “Miracles in December” (2013), Super Junior’s “Islands” (2014) and Lee Seung-hwan’s “I Feel On You” (2014).
