A Korean-American man has been shot and killed in Fresno.
According to the Fresno Police Department, two men and a woman were shot at around 9:45 p.m. on September 10 near North Abby Avenue in Fresno.
Authorities released the victims’ identities on September 12, two days after the incident.
The police identified the man killed in the shooting as 35-year-old Sylvester Choi. A woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s who were with Choi at the time of the shooting suffered gunshot wounds, but are reportedly in non-life-threatening condition.

“They were at a gathering when an unidentified person opened fire,” a police department official told local media outlet Fresno Bee, adding, ”The motive for the shooting is under investigation, and we are identifying the suspect through security cameras from the time.”
Police are looking for witnesses to come forward.
