A man was charged with smashing windows of 28 vehicles in the Koreatown neighborhood.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, a homeless man, William Ramirez, was arrested on January 2, at 9:15 pm after breaking windows of 28 cars in Koreatown near 3rd and Berendo Street.
William Ramirez faces 18 felony counts including one count of assault with a deadly weapon and 17 counts of vandalism plus 12 misdemeanors.
The incident caused $11,600 of property damage. Ramirez faces a possible maximum sentence of more than 27 years in jail if convicted. Ramirez’ bail is recommended at $370,000.
