Orange County-based marathon club Easy Runners, which has produced 49 competitors at the Boston Marathon over 18 years, is offering a set of classes from June 11 to July 9 at Cerritos Community Regional Park.
The class will be held every Sunday from 7 to 9 a.m. as the students will learn about â–¶how walking and running helps, proper attire for running â–¶physiology of running, proper drinking method, nutrition and health management and running form and mechanism â–¶preventing and treating injuries from running, treatment and stretching â–¶fundamentals of running a 5k marathon.
The coaches at East Runners will also provide hands-on training for the students.
