Starbucks unveils nitrogen-infused cold brew beverage

Specialty coffee chain giant Starbucks introduced a new beverage to its menu in anticipation for the 2016 summer heat. The drink, Nitro brew, is named after the process of using the 7th periodic table element to make the beverage. This nitrogen infused cold brew coffee is served by a special tap.

Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz attributed the cool and delicious cold brew drink to the craft of Guinness beer, claiming that Nitro brew as a craft product is not “dissimilar to the trend of craft beer.”

By the end of the summer, Nitro brew will be sold in 500 Starbucks locations in Seattle, New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Portland.
