Ryu Hyun-jin (30) has injured his left arm during a game, and it seems like his injury may be a playoff opportunity for other pitchers.
On the 23rd, LA Dodgers’ Ryu Hyun-jin got hit by the ball on his left arm during the team’s home game with SF Giants. The game ended with Giant’s win on 2-1.
Ryu received an X-ray examination and the results said there was nothing wrong with his bones. Dave Roberts, manager of Dodgers announced, “we will keep watching how his condition goes.”
However, MLB.com mentioned that “Ryu Hyun-jin will not be included in the post season starting rotation and many pitchers are looking forward to replace Ryu’s position.”
Meanwhile, Ryu Hyun-jin said, “my goal is to start post season, and I will do my best to recover, so that I can take the mound although things can change because of my injury.”
