Asiana Airlines will adjust the schedule of its Incheon–Los Angeles route beginning September 1, affecting flights OZ201 (Incheon–Los Angeles) and OZ202 (Los Angeles–Incheon). The move is aimed at improving passenger convenience and optimizing connections, the carrier said Tuesday.
The airline noted that the revised schedule has been published in advance and is available on its official website and booking system. Industry observers view the change as part of a strategic decision tied to slot management at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and broader efforts to streamline passenger itineraries.
The new timetable is expected to benefit business travelers, who will now have greater flexibility to attend meetings or conduct business on the same day of arrival. Leisure travelers are also expected to enjoy smoother transfers to domestic flights and easier onward travel across the United States.
The most significant change impacts OZ202, the Los Angeles–Incheon return flight, which will now arrive in Los Angeles earlier in the morning. The revised schedule moves the arrival time from 10:20 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., allowing passengers to avoid peak-hour congestion at LAX, move more quickly through immigration, and reach the city center earlier.
“Asiana Airlines remains committed to enhancing customer service and providing a more comfortable and convenient travel experience,” a company spokesperson said.
