Yoon Bo-mi of girl group Apink and actor Choi Tae-joon are the newest cast members to join the MBC variety show “We Got Married.”
Producers for the show announced the addition of celebrities to the show on Wednesday. They said, “Not only does Choi have the qualities of a successful actor, but he is also humble and charming enough to be loved by a large audience. Yoon on the other hand is already well-known as a sweet and energetic girl group member. We are excited to see what kind of chemistry the two will bring.”
The two will replace the spot previously held by comedian Jo Se-ho and Cao Lu of girl group Fiestar, whose final appearance on the show airs today.
The girl group member debuted in 2011 with mini-album “Seven Springs of Apink.” She previously held hosting duties for the MBC Every1 variety show “Weekly Idol” in 2015, and also appeared on MBC’s “Real Men” for its second female soldier special.
Choi originally debuted as a child star, playing the role of actor Jo In-sung’s younger self in 2001 SBS drama, “Piano.” His most recent role in MBC period drama “The Flower in Prison” airs every Sunday and Saturday.
