iOS version of global classic platform game, Super Mario Run is ready for its release next week. A week previous to the game’s release on Thursday, December 15, Nintendo held a press conference.
Super Mario Run will be released in two versions – iPhone version and iPad version – while Android application is planned to be released next year.
Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario, is excited to announce a new platform for Mario to interact with players. “Since the video game era, Mario has met millions of people as an interactive game,” said Shigeru. “Mario will continue to serve that role.”
Super Mario Run for iOS is using vertical display instead of horizontal, which enables comfortable one-hand play. With Super Mario Run, Nintendo is taking its early step in the Smartphone game market.
