Sistar Collaborates with Producer Giorgio Moroder



K-pop girl group Sistar is having a collaboration project with Giorgia Moroder, who is an Italian singer-songwriter of electronic music.

They will be showing their project at MU:CON Seoul 2016 (Seoul International Music Fair), which opens on October 6th.

Georgio Moroder is a three-time Academy Awards-winning producer. He won the Best Original Score for Midnight Express (1978), Two Best Songs for the film Flashdance (1983) and Top Gun (1986). He is also known as the songwriter of famous song ‘Hand in Hand (손에 손잡고)’, which was the 1988 Seoul Olympic official song.


On September 6th at MBC, Moroder said that “I can’t wait to release the song as I will be working with the hottest K-pop girl group, Sistar. Sistar is such a great group and the song also will be excellent”. Hyorin, who also joined the event said, “It is such an honor to work with Giorgio Moroder, who is a pioneer of electronic and disco music. I am so excited to see how the collaboration will result in. Through this collaboration, I hope K-pop to be more well-known”.
