Korean actor Lee Byung-hun has signed a contract with United Talent Agency.
According to BH Entertainment on March 24, the actor has recently signed with UTA, moving from his previous US agency CAA. As several Hollywood big names like Angelina Jolie, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pratt, Tilda Swinton, and Channing Tatum are contracted with UTA, it is expected that Lee Byung-hun will be able to expand his Hollywood career to a broader spectrum.
Acting in several Korean films including I Saw the Devil, The Good, the Bad, the Weird, Inside Men, and Master, the actor has established himself as one of the most talented actors in Korea. Since his Hollywood debut in 2009 with G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, he has continuously built his career in the global market as well.
Meanwhile, the actor is currently filming for Korean film Namhansanseong (working title), a movie based on the best-seller by veteran writer Kim Hoon.
