Hip-hop trio Epik High will perform at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, becoming the first Korean group to appear at the festival.
The festival organizer unveiled a full lineup of performances on Tuesday, local time, on its official website, which included Epik High performances on April 17 and 24.
The annual festival in Indio, California, runs for two weeks and it is one of the largest music festivals in the United States. The festival features performances of various genres of music from rock to hip-hop and electronic.
This year’s Coachella has been generating much buzz because hard rock band Guns N’ Roses will make its first official appearance at the festival after lead vocalist Axl Rose and guitarist Slash decided to reunite.
This is not the first time for Epik High to perform for North American music fans. The trio appeared at South by Southwest, a festival for music and films held in Austin, Texas, last year.
Epik High debuted to the Korean music scene in 2003.
