On Evening of December 4, a 3.5 magnitude earthquake briefly shook the area east of Fullerton at 8:09 p.m., as reported by the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter, situated about 1.2 miles from Fullerton, sent ripples through neighboring cities. The tremor was felt less than a mile from Anaheim, around a mile from Placentia, and roughly two miles from both Brea and La Habra.

Situated in Orange County, which is one of the most populous counties in America, this area, particularly around Anaheim and Fullerton, is home to a substantial Korean-American community, exceeding 100,000 residents. Despite the significant population density, the Fullerton Police Department has confirmed that there were no injuries or structural damages resulting from the earthquake.

The earthquake was recorded with a depth of 6.6 miles, indicating a relatively shallow seismic event. Fullerton, known for its proximity to seismic activity zones, is located about 27 miles away from downtown Los Angeles. While there was no immediate cause for concern, residents are reminded to be aware of safety protocols in case of future seismic events.
